You will never know what is behind you, what will happen to you on the next moment.

WHY DO PEOPLE SEE GHOST?

Ghosts have not been proven, but people claim they've seen them. The only possible evidence are that they have a form of depression, loneliness, over-active imagination, or fearing them.

Not all people see ghosts (or specters.) Some people don't even believe in them and Christians feel if one sees a ghost (Even the Holy Ghost?) it's a demon and not of this earth and evil. I've read many scientific studies on specters and have seen some pretty convincing pictures. They say that if someone dies a sudden death, is murdered, or loves the home they lived in they will remain there. They don't know they are dead. 

There is no scientific proof to back this up, but there are many things in this world us humans don't understand and perhaps we aren't meant to understand more at this point in time. Some see ghosts while others simply feel their presents or, the ghost may move material things around that person. A book may go flying across the room or lights flicker off and on for no apparent reason. 

Yes. Just because scientists can't prove there is such a thing doesn't mean it doesn't exist. 

THINGS YOU SHOULD DO IF YOU SEE GHOST

DON'T FREAK OUT
As much as many of us think we know how we'd react if we saw a genuine apparition, we don't really know until it happens to us. Perhaps you like to think you would be brave, but you might just freak out. And that is not unusual. It's our instinctive fight-or-flight response in the face of the unknown kicking in. We have seen experienced ghost hunters scream and run out of a room at the slightest noise or movement. Whether you are on a ghost hunt seeking spirits or you spontaneously encounter an apparition (how it most often happens), fight the urge to panic and flee. After all, this might be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Not many people have this privilege. Although your heart might be pounding and you mind racing, try to remain calm and still. Ghosts, for the most part, are completely harmless.

TRY TO COMMUNICATE 
Yes, you might be able to communicate with the spirit, if this is an intelligent haunting. If this is a residual haunting - a kind of recording on the environment - then you probably will not be able to communicate with it. The ghost will not even notice you. That would be like trying to communicate with a video recording; no interaction is possible. If this is an intelligent haunting, however - a true spirit of a once-living person - you might be able to get a reaction. The spirit might look at you, possibly as intrigued by you as you are of it. Calmly talk to the spirit, just as if you are talking to a person you just met. Introduce yourself. Ask its name. Be calm and respectful. There is no guarantee that you will get a response, audible or otherwise, but it's worth a try.

TAKE PICTURES 
If you have a camera in hand, by all means try to discreetly photograph the spirit. Even if it's just your cell phone camera, get some shots. But use the best camera you have available. Do not use the flash. The flash might wash out the figure of the spirit or cause unwanted reflections and glare. Without the flash, this will mean that you will have to hold the camera as perfectly still as you can as you snap the picture, especially in low-light situations, to avoid blurring. Yes, your hands might be shaking, but do your very best. Take as many shots as you can while the apparition is visible. Also take some shots after the ghost and disappeared for comparison purposes.

RECORD SOME AUDIO 
If you don't have video, at least try to get some audio. If you have a voice recorder, turn it on. Many cell phones also have a recording function or app that you can switch on. There are two reasons for doing this: • You want to document your attempted communication with the spirit. • You might at least get an EVP (electronic voice phenomena) from it. Even though you might not hear anything at the time of the recording, you might hear something on the recording when you review it later.

CALL OTHERS IN 
If you are alone but there are others nearby, in an adjacent room perhaps, calmly call them in. This will help confirm what you are experiencing. More witnesses to an event this extraordinary are better than one. Again, be calm. Don't shout. And prepare them for what they will (hopefully) see; you don't want them freaking out and getting all hysterical. Keep them all calm and respectful. You want this to be a special, even reverent experience for all involved. Having more people as personal witnesses will also mean that they can additionally document the experience with their cameras and recorders. The more documentation, the better.

WAIT IT OUT 
Simply see what happens. The spirit might be visible for just a few seconds or, if you're lucky, for a minute or more. Do not leave while the apparition is still visible - not even to fetch someone else. Watch it. Take note of what it does and how it reacts. Even if it disappears, wait around for a little while. Perhaps it will return.

GHOST IN THE CLASSROOM

There were night class once before in university, but due to certain reason, all the night class cancelled. Some of the senior told us that because university wanted to save costs, some mentioned that university care about girl safety in the night, but there are rumor about the ghost story too.

One of the famous ghost story in the university is the story of ghost in the classroom. This story was told by a lecturer. The lecturer was giving tutorial class on that night. That night, only few student attended the class, there were still lot empty place in the class. As usual, the lecturer gave note to the student and started to teach her 1st chapter of the subject. The student was paying attention to the lesson.

But then, after 15 minutes of lecture class, the lecturer stopped the lesson. She told the student that she was not feeling well, hoped to end class earlier and she asked to student to back to own hostel immediately because it was already very late. The student was so excited because class ended earlier. No people stayed by that night to ask question.

After few day, a student went to find lecturer and asked the reason of ending the class earlier.

"Miss, last lesson you ended class earlier because you saw somethings, right?"

"How you know?"

"Some of us saw too, but we kept quiet because we didn't want to scare other student."

"I thought I am the only one who saw the ghost only"

There were lot of empty place in the class on that night. After few minutes the lesson started, the lecturer were actually saw a girl with white cloth and white hair, with unclear face sitting at the behind of all student. The lecturer planned to ignore it, because it was night and it was in the jungle, many things could be happen.

But then, when the lecturer turned to write somethings on the board, when she turned back, she realized that the girl was in front of all the student, but the student didn't seen her.

The darkest hour inside the class

A senior told me another ghost story of the night class. The story is almost same like the above ghost incident story, the different is, the lecturer saw a group of Japanese Soldiers were standing behind the class.

GHOST STORY IN STUDENT COLLAGE

Place of Incident: Student Collage E

As you know,  Student Collage E is one of the spooky place in university. There was an incident of "has roommate but actually no roommate" story happened in student collage E before. But now, here is another new ghost story from senior about student collage E.

The story was happened in 5C- Student Collage E when the senior was in the first year. Her roommate who loves to hand on the phone have the tendency of walking on the field where nearby the rooms. It happened that on the particular day, she was using the telephone booth situated at the block entrance. That time was almost 1am and she came to them, running and knocking their door and sat exactly in the middle of the room, looking very pale with her eyes rolling staring at each of them. There were four of them that time. The roommate was speechless and was breathing short. At that moment, they knew that there were somethings wrong with her. One of them started to read the prayers while the senior popped out of her bed and asked what had happened. It was when she told us that she saw a faceless white colour figure moving about on the field exactly opposite the telephone booth. They all chilled and decided to sleep together on that night by joining their single bed together.

The story was happened in orientation week. Most of the story happened during that time due to less people in university during orientation week.

On the first night, the student slept very well. Suddenly, she heard some noise beside her ear, seen like someone was talking to her, but the sound also feel like sound of the bat. But, somethings happened when opened her eyes. She saw "somethings" with no legs, eyes red, long white hair with red cloth, flying on her and looking at her. Without thinking of others, she quickly closed her eyes back and prayed for herself, fight with the "somethings". Soon, it disappeared, but the student was too afraid to sleep in that night, switched on the light and keep praying, hoping that this was just a dream.

    There were a huge tree beside the lake nearby the "Dewan DMAS". According to the rumor, the tree cannot be cut down due to certain reason. There were lot of stories about the tree. Every time when the worker want to cut down the tree, the machine of the chainsaw will break down. But then when you walk away from the tree and switch on the machine, the chainsaw will active again, the "break down" incident will only occur when the machine near to the tree. Even if you use saw, the saw will break into pieces when near the tree. After that, the university decide to keep the tree as decoration.

    The prove is the buidling process was suspended for 3 month due to the investigation purpose.

EXPERIENCE WITH GHOST IN STUDENT COLLAGE

Do you heard of any Student Collage T ghost story?
Here is the one told by our senior.

This story happened on 2012. She was an AJKS that time who handling the new intakes. During the time, one of the chinese girl said she saw "somethings" until fever. The block she stayed was located at the most back of the hostel, which nearby the jungle. That time, they thought she was having a normal fever, but her fever getting worst and worst after that. On the next day, the senior took some medicine for her, and knocked her door for many times, but no people answered. She didn't want to talk to anyone until her parents come to fetch her back. Since after that, she never come back to the hostel anymore. Many of the people don't know what she really saw, but they said that she probably saw "Somethings".

Many senior mentioned that this is quite common as student collage T rumored full of that, especially in Block A.

GHOST IN THE ROOM

Sometime, will you feel somethings on you, which suddenly make you feel heavy but you don't know why?

When you sleeping alone in the mid-night, will you feel somethings on your back and make you feel scary?

Here is another ghost story from a super senior of UUM.

That senior mentioned that after that incident happened on her, every night she needed someone to sleep together with her.
Although many people will feel that this is nothing, but after you heard the story, you may need someone to sleep together with you after that.

"I experienced one myself not long after studying in UUM. You see, I had the habit of returning back to the university after the holidays a day before the class starts. It so happened that it was just after Hari Raya Haji and as usual, the hostel would be particularly quient as most of the the student are not back from their hometown yet. 

It was 11pm when it happened. After studying, I left the book on the table, switched off the light and left only the table lamp on. The book was opened, untouched at the pages where I left off as it would be easier for me to pick up from there after that. As I was lying on my bed trying to fall asleep, suddenly I heard sounds of page flipping. Quickly, I got up and looked towards my study table but there was nothing. Again, I tried to go to go to bed, and as I was failing asleep, I heard noises of someone scratching against the mosquito net. Immediately, I opened the curtains to check if there was anyone out there, but not even a shadow could be seen. 

For the third time I lay on my bed, but I heard 2 knocks on the door again. However, I wasn't sure if it was just my neighbour knock my door, but i decided to ignore it because if it were my friend looking for me, I would hear persistent knocks. After some time, I started to drift off to sleep. As I was about to drift off to a deep sleep, I could suddenly feel heaviness. I tried to fight it off and as I opened my eyes, I could see a black figure sitting at the other end of my bed staring hard at me. After a while of struggling, I saw the black figure jumping to my roommate's bed and as mysteriously as it appeared, it disappeared.

The next morning, my friend asked me why I didn't not answer the door. When I checked with her what time did she come to look for me, she told me it was about 11pm. I swore I could not hear the consistent knocks as she told me she knocked on the door for quite sometime but had no reply from me."

FAKE ROOMATE

The "Fake Roommate" story was mention by this UUM senior.
The story was happened during the orientation week. 

The student had a very quiet roommate. 

Every time when he talked to his roommate, but his roommate never reply him.

The freaky part happened.

One mid-term, around 2PM like that, when he woke up to go to toilet, he saw his roommate' head hanging on the ceiling fans, keep turning and turning.

Can you imagine his feeling? Without thinking another things, he immediately slept back and prayed, hoping that this was just a dream, an illusion.

On the next day morning, he check with the campus office and found out that actually he has no roommate.

GHOST STORY OF FAKE ROOMMATE 2
Ghost story of fake roommate 2 was told by a lecturer. That day many of the student were going to fall asleep in class, and then the lecturer told us the ghost story to wake us up. It was really work.

The story was happened in girl hostel. The student was living alone with her roommate. Her roommate was a very quiet girl, she talked few and then she always came back room in the late night. But this kind of situation is very common in university. Most of the student talk less with their roommate unless they have same personality, and once you join the activity in university, you will always busy until the mid- night.

One day, the student was very tired to wake up to close the light. She asked help from her roommate. Guess what, strange things happen. Her roommate close the light just like what the Luffy in One Piece Anime did, stretching her hand to switch off the light. Immediately, the student ran away from room and went to find her friend. She was so shock and frighten, and her face was like a green apple.

The next morning, her friend went to her room to check up, but they realized that her roommate bed was actually empty. After that, they went to office to report but the officer told them that she did not have roommate. 

ORIENTATION WEEK- GHOST STORY

This was a story from a super senior of UUM.
Her story really freak us out.
Here is her story:

Well, I’ve always thought that it was nonsense right until that very day, it changed the way I thought about ghost stories. 
It happened during the holiday break when the campus is most serene. 
It was already late in the evening and being one of the committee members that holds the induction for new students, I had to be there to prepare the hall for the newbies.

At that time, we were at the Hall known as Dewan Peperiksaan when my friend asked if I wanted to follow her to the washroom. 
I thought why not and we walked together to the washroom. 
The washroom was located at the far end of the corridor and we had to pass a place where the Surau is. 
The corridor was pretty dark except for some occasional lights and the even the Surau was pitch black. 
As we were passing by the Surau, I suddenly heard sounds of children playing and laughing. 
I was pretty puzzled since I could hear very clearly that the noises came from the pitch black surau. 
My goosebumps immediately appeared and I asked my friend if she heard anything. 
My friend did not respond and merely just asked me to walk faster. 
We increased our walking speed, hurried to the washroom to finish our business and walked back to the Dewan Peperiksaan.

It was not until we reached the bright hall that my friend admitted that she heard exactly what I heard. 
You see, as my study term came to an end, the stories I hear about of girls suddenly going hysterical out of a sudden to the extend that they even act and speak in different voice was common. 
I even personally had an experience myself. 
It happened when I was showering when I saw the gentle charming girl I knew acting all crazy running around and screaming in a man’s voice. 
The next thing I knew, all her friends were chasing after her trying to hold her down and after more people came to help, they brought her to the Ustaz (religious teacher) who managed to “calm” her down.

THE SCARIEST GHOST STORY- BUS INCIDENT

This story was happened on 5 September 2005. An overloaded UUM bus was overturned and plunged into a river after a passenger apparently fell onto the steering wheel. 

5 people were seriously injured and admitted to the Alor Setar Hospital, while other 47 passengers were given outpatient treatment at UUM Medical Centre.

The bus was on the way to residential collages in Bukit Kachi when the accident occured.

It is understood that the bus carrying 63 passengers, 20 more than the maximum allowed, veered into the river after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

But why this accident will related with the ghost story?

At the incident place, a reporter from The Star Newspaper had caught a strange photo.

The photo if you enlarge it, you can clearly see that there was a "Satan" inside.

It not really looks like a ghost, but more looks like a "Phantom" or "Satan".

It has two big eyes and keen teeth.

HISTORY OF UUM- THE BEGINNING OF THE STORY

Do you know why ghost story is famous in UUM?

What is the reason which caused UUM to become a "Dirty" place?

UUM is located in Sintok, Kedah. There were lot histories happened in this area.

In the past before UUM was built, the place was a Japanese armies and communists cemetery. 

No doubt that UUM is a scariest place in Malaysia.

There were wars happened in this land before.

Many people died in the war.

Can you imagine the feeling of stepping on the ground which full of die body?

University Utara Malaysia was a place that every student knows some form of ghost story.

In fact, it was circulated as a true ghost story that before the whole university was built in the middle of no where.

Before the beginning of the construction of UUM, the government sent empty buses with "passangers" in the middle of the site and strictly instructed the bus drivers not to turn around or look back at the rear view of the mirror. 

The bus driver would drive into another faraway area in the middle of no where.

It was said that this action is to "ferry" all the ghosts away from the woods and carry them to their "new home". In other words, the action of empty buses is to send away the "Ghost".

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This blog is created to introduce the experience of ghost story in University Utara Malaysia (UUM).There are lot rumor about the ghost story in university, such as, fake roommate, ghost in the bus incident, ghost in the classroom, ghost experience during the orientation week, ghost in the room, ghost in the student collage and etc. But, actually which one is true and which one is false, none of us know about it. The only thing that we knew that all this story was shared by our senior.

The purpose of creating this blog is to share the experience of ghost story with others and teach them how to face the problem. There are lot of explanation of the appearance of ghost. Some said that it may be the illusion of own due to tiredness. But, there is an explanation about the appearance of ghost, they said if someone dies in a sudden death, is murdered or love the place they live, they will remain at that place. In my university, according to the survey we did with the students, not all student believe in ghost. Some of the student was actually seen the ghost.

When actually you see ghost, we should not freak out. You may try to communicate, take pictures or record audio, call others in and wait it out. Praying also may help.

Tetapi, manakah cerita hantu itu benar, dan manakah merupakan cerita yang palsu, jawapan ini adalah satu tekaan. Semua cerita ini diberitahukan oleh "senior" kita.

Tujuan blog ini dituliskan adalah untuk memberitahu dan berkongsi cerita hantu dengan semua pembaca dan memberi tunjuk ajar dalam mengatasi keadaan sekiranya melihat hantu. Ada orang yang menjelaskan situasi hantu ini adalah kerana keletihan seseorang yang menyebabkan ilusi, dan juga terdapat penjelasan tentang "hantu" tersebut tinggal di kawasan tersebut adalah disebabkan oleh kematian tiba- tiba, pembunuhan atau ingin berada di tepi orang yang tercinta. Berdasarkan kaji selidik yang dibuat, bukan semua pelajar mempercayai hantu, tetapi ada pelajar terlihat situasi tersebut.

Apabila anda terlihat hantu, anda haruslah bertenang. Anda boleh berkomunikasi dengan-NYA, mengambil gambar dan video, memanggil pertolongan orang lain, berdoa atau menunggu.
